My dear sweet wife... What an epic picture! This was indeed an opportune time to capture such culinary skills!
So Sarah was making an Indian dish and there were quite the combinations of spices! Oh man it was super potent. My eyes were burning in the other room and as you can see, Sarah was suffering so much she put her swimming goggles on.
My turn to ask a question....When cooking onions and green chili peppers, how do you keep your eyes dry? It was torturous to cook this meal, BUT it was bliss eating this dish. Yummy.

One of my favorite books right now is These is my words. My sister in law Shannon recommended this book, and I absoluetly loved it. I would sit Josh down and read parts from the book to him. I loved all the characters especially Sarah who resembled a strong woman inside and out. I know it is a fictional book, but still I think of her as a real person. Thanks again for the recommendation. I am now reading Snow falling on Cedars. I just started so I can't recommend the book quite yet.

We did it as a family!! It is about time we made our journey to the Y. Now we are truly a part of Provo UT. This hike use to take me about 1/2 hr at the least to climb, but it took us almost an hour to climb. I blame this due to me working too much at the hospital and not having enough time working out on my phyisical strength. Josh was very patient as I was hiking and taking little steps up towards the Y. Maybe soon I can get back into shape again.
Josh and I had our big date yesterday. I went to work for only a 1/2 shift and then Josh and I met to hike the Y. After our grueling work out we went to a movie which was the best ever. For all of you people out there you should go and see Stardust. Amazing movie. I absolutely enjoyed it. I would love to see it again. After the movie we went to our favorite restaurant called Bombay House. Mmmm it was so yummy. I just love all of the spices. It was a great day yesterday to be with my husband!!

This is our newest family member....Grand Steven Peterson. He is the cutest little thing ever. Who would have thought that Steven would have a baby before me. Josh saw him the other day and said his eyes were tired. I wonder why....Good luck Steven and I am so glad you are moving to Provo so I can hold him more often.

I have to admit I look at my blog as well as everyone else's blog about twice a day thinking that maybe there will be something new. Just because I look on the computer twice a day doesn't mean that I have nothing going on in my life. It just means I care for everyone out there and want to know what you are all doing. (Josh just commented that I have turned into Shannon. No offense Shannon because I would like to be just like you :) BUT I would like to update everyone on OUR life in the first year of marriage!! Well, Josh is busy with school and he puts me to shame this last week when he kept waking up at 0430 everyday to start his day. Goodness I thought waking up at 0520 for work was amazing. I have to admit I admire Josh for being so proactive in his day. I hope and pray he will continue this throughout school!!! I am still working as a nurse and at times I come home loving it when the other times I keep telling Josh I would like to quit my job, but I am still with it after 4 years!! I would like to add that I am very excited to come out to California next week. Get ready for a party!!! WOOO! It will be fun to go for a trip over to the Teare's house. I miss all of my little nieces and nephews. So my brother is going to have a baby next week. I am so excited to have another little nephew to play with and excited he will be so close to me!!
I hope you have all enjoyed reading my little spill because Josh burst my bubble saying no one wants to read my novel :( Humor me, okay?

Mama get da shotgun! Coons'er back!

I had to dedicate a bit to these little guys... Sarah's aunt has 4 pet racoons and they are the cutest little buggers ever! They are so much fun! She found them and has fed them since 1 week old. They love graham crackers and marshmellows and they'll just climb all over you and play. The singled out one if Johnny (the runt) and he was the best... just chillin in my lap. This last picture here is a couple playing in the water... they'll cover the end of the hose and make it spray all over. I want one!

I wanted to share with you what my sister thought about Shannon's post. She wanted so bad to reply on your post about "oh my Gosh", but she didn't have the password and so she wrote this on the Peterson website. So here it is....by the way I accidently ordered 3 eclipse and 3 twightlights. I have to admit, but I am a dummy when it comes to amazon.com.

Sarah had me read what her sister-in-law said about Eclipse. It was hil-ar-ious. After every sentence she said "Oh My Gosh." I feel the same way. I just finished it for the second time and I almost cried. I felt so terrible. Has anyone read it yet so I can spill my guts?! I'm wondering if we should just start making this a fan sight instead of a family site? I'm listening to a song that keeps saying "I have too much time on my hands" maybe that's my problem. hhmmm... Blair I love that you're loving the book and that you've corrupted your mother. Way-to-G0! High five. I have two copies of Eclipse so when you're ready you can borrow one of mine but I have a waiting list so you might just have to buy your own. Hastings has a good price. Oh, maybe Sarah will sale you one of hers. She has three copies of Eclipse and three copies of Twilight. I think she's the ultimate fan. Funny huh. We love you Sarah. I'm excited to hear about your ere it is .....

My husband is HOTT!!!!

Monday, August 06, 2007

Our first tomato off our huge plant in front. I really admire those who solely live off what they produce. There is so much anticipation, wondering, and patience involved in growing food! I have enjoyed our first experience gardening together. Can't wait to have a decent sized yard to buy a mule, iron plow, and maybe a scythe.

A glimpse at a real man's job... a bit of my days window washing many feet up. I really need to take more pictures of these ridiculous homes I do up in Park City. People spend A LOT of mulah up there. Don't worry... that was only half way up this house. Go Clarity Windows! Get some! Call now for a free estimate! Franchising soon...

We are very excited to finally have an actual bed... We've been sleeping on a thin, ratty mattress on the floor for a whole year now! Well, no... we're not that poor. Sure sounded good. It was really the new bed frame. Here we see some pure man doing his thing... assembling with power tools while the woman folk watches thinking: my goodness that is so sexy! If you click to see a larger image of me you'll notice the sweat on my brow... thanks dad for the get-so-sweaty-easy-in-the-face gene

So here's the story... this represents Sarah's true love. She ate sooo much cookie dough recently that she gave herself salmonella poisoning... Oh she was sooo sick for three days. You should have heard her in moments of despair and suffering "I'm never gonna eat sweets again!!! (cry, sob, cry, sob) Yeah right! What a cutie.

This was taken (by me) on her birthday last April at Thanksgiving Point... Gorgeous!
