Family History

I have started a new class.  Actually it is my final class in receiving my bachelors in nursing.  I am involved in a family history class.  I have always wanted to strengthen my knowledge in family history since my salvation is involved in doing the work for the dead.  I will be using our family blog to record my assignments.

We just recently added a new family member, Charlotte Marie Teare.  I couldn't be happier with our new addition.  I had such a trial when I had Preston that my nephrologist strongly opposed me in having a baby.  I prayed daily to have my body restored, but knowing what damage was done to my kidneys was done.  I reached out to my family members for their prayers and fasting.  I went often to the temple to seek some reassurance in having another child.

I had many fears in having another child.  I didn't have that strong sense as to have a child or not.  I already knew the answer in having more children.  God wants us to have children. So, I went by faith.  I had to have faith in my Savior.  And it was actually a very calming experience in having this little girl.  I was not scared or afraid of what may or could happen.  Reading the scriptures helped me to have stronger faith in that if something went wrong, at least I have the gospel in my life.

I did all that I could do to make sure that I was healthy and put the rest in my Heavenly Father's hands.  I have a strong testimony of this church.  In the end, my pregnancy and delivery was perfect.  I know the Savior watched over and protected me.  I had a wonderful priesthood blessing the day before she arrived and brought even more peace to me.

So far we have had so much happiness with our new addition. Preston just dotes and loves her dearly.  And I love my two children and my wonderful husband who does so much for our little family.
