We are finally home from the hospital. I am doing much better, but it was scary there for awhile. I do feel like an 80 year old woman taking my blood pressure medications. Yes, my pressures are still high, but the doctors are hopeful that I will be completely back to normal. My kidneys and liver are almost to where they should be. I am just so blessed to have such a good little baby!! In the end it was all worth it!!

The labor and delivery was quick, however rough for Sarah.  Little Preston did and is doing so well.  Sarah was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia after delivery.  It usually happens before delivery and would effect the baby.  Fortunately, little Preston is perfectly fine.  I'll save the typing and have ya just hit the link to read up on it.  It was rather scary seeing her suffer so, and being so sick.  We are grateful for the many prayers and thoughts.  She is doing so much better now and lab values are normalizing.  We just need her kidneys to catch up with the progress.  Hopefully if things continue on its course, she can come home within the next couple days.  

Preston is SO adorable.  I sit and hold him for hours and just stare.  I don't even realize the time going by.  It is just so surreal to be at this point in life and to experience something so special.  I am indeed blessed and very excited to be a father.  I don't think I have ever seen a baby with so much hair!

Will this baby EVER come?

So I am still waiting for this baby to come!!  My due date was yesterday. Ugh!! My dad calls me everyday to know what the status is... NOTHING!!  So I have done quite a bit of internet searching and am finding great things that I would either love to do OR buy (if I had lots of money). 

Number 1.... I LOVE this purse!!  I found it blog searching... Amy Butler pattern... Camille I think she mentions you in one of her (or your) quilts-What a famous friend I have :)

Number 2..... I LOVE this purse...Storksak...It looks like an awesome diaper bag.

As you can tell I am looking hard for a diaper bag.  I failed already at ordering a purse and sent it back due to it being so boring.  Oh my husband LOVES (I should say likes) this purse....Petunia Pickle Bottom - Scout-

Basically I am just waiting maybe to see what kind of baby I will have before buying a diaper bag...I feel like it is such a huge investment!  Knowing me in the end I probably won't purchase one and will carry all of my son's stuff in a plastic baggy.
